» Poker with PayPal
Believe it or not, PayPal has finally relented after almost 20 years and is now funding online poker accounts. If you are not familiar with PayPal, they are the world’s unprecedented leader when it comes to online payment processors and e-wallets. What took them so long to finally agree to allow poker with PayPal is anybody’s guess, but they do now, and quite a few poker players are taking advantage of it.
Poker with PayPal
All of that being said, PayPal poker is limited to certain countries, certain websites, and is not available for US players. The online poker community is quite excited about this recent change in policy because they believe it will provide more people than ever the opportunity to learn the game, and with any luck, start making the big money like so many others before them have been able to accomplish. Unlike some online payment processors that make it almost impossible to open and fund an account, the PayPal process is quite easy and really does not take very long to get setup. In order to get this to work, you are going to have to find poker sites that accept PayPal, and as we mentioned previously, not all of them do.
Poker Sites that Accept PayPal
After you find a poker site that you think looks interesting, the first thing that you are going to need to do is to click on its payment processing options page. Next, scroll down and try to find PayPal icon. If you don’t find it, that means that site does not accept PayPal, and you are going to have to check out some other poker sites.
Even if you do find the PayPal icon on a poker site, that still does not mean that you will be able to play at that site. PayPal has only approved some countries for certain sites. So, what you need to do after you find the PayPal icon on a site is verify that the country you live in is on their approved list.
If it is, you are all set, and you will be able to start playing poker within ten minutes or so. The first thing you need to do is to open up an account at the poker site you have found. This is very easy because all you have to do is fill out a short form that asks for your name, address, phone number, and email.
After you hit the form submit button, the poker website will send you an email almost instantly asking you to confirm the information you submitted to their site. So, make sure you check your inbox right away to find that email and click on the conformation button.
That will take you back to their website where you will be able to enter your PayPal account information and request that your poker account is funded for whatever amount you want to start playing with. If it doesn’t sound too complicated, it isn’t, which is exactly why so many people are now using PayPal to fund their poker account.
